ROY MARSH
Managing Director

 

Roy founded Claydon Consulting  as an independent advisory practice focused on banking and payments technology, spanning strategic advisory engagements with technology providers, investor due diligence, market assessments, go-to-market and proposition development initiatives across the Banking and Financial Services sector.

He is a senior executive with over 40 years of leadership experience in international financial software, payments, and banking technology, operating across the UK, EMEA and APAC. Having transitioned from a 12-year banking career into the software and consulting world, Roy has since led strategic initiatives, driven M&A activity, scaled operations across 20+ countries, and restored underperforming business units to profitability.

Roy's domain expertise spans Core Banking, Global Payments, Operational Risk, Treasury, and Capital Markets. He works with both start-ups and global institutions to challenge business models, shape GTM strategy, and unlock commercial value. A former Managing Director and Associate Partner, Roy now works independently with software and banking clients and serves as an Awareness Ambassador for Prostate Cancer UK.
